Three things worth knowing before you need it.
The words in the warranty are “defects in craftsmanship.” That is the work we did — the bodywork, the paint, the way the car went back together. If it does not hold, bring the car back and we will put it right. There is no time limit and no mileage limit while the car is yours.
Come to us first, because we did the work and we know the file. But if you have moved, or you are a long way from Bel-Red Road when something surfaces, any Fix Auto shop in the country honors it. That is the part a single-shop guarantee cannot match.
The warranty is yours, not the vehicle’s — it does not pass to a buyer when you sell. And it covers the repair we performed, not a fresh dent or a second accident. If you come back with new damage, that is an insurance question, and we will tell you so plainly rather than quietly declining a warranty claim.
You keep two documents from the repair: the Chief frame measurement printout, with before-and-after readings whenever your repair involves structural work, and the post-repair scan report, which shows whether any fault codes remain in the vehicle.
What to do, in order.
Ring (425) 641-5475 and tell us what you are seeing and roughly when it started. You do not need to make the drive to find out whether it is covered.
We look at it here, against our own file for the repair. If it is our workmanship, we correct it. There is no charge and no deductible for warranty work.
Any Fix Auto shop in the United States honors the warranty. Take the car to the nearest one and tell them where the original repair was done. There are 200+ of them.

Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. Every repair carries the Fix Auto limited lifetime warranty on workmanship, for as long as you own the vehicle, and it's honored at any of the 200+ Fix Auto shops in the U.S. — so it still covers you if you move or you're traveling. If something isn't right after you pick up your car, bring it back and we'll correct it.
What does a lifetime warranty actually cover?
It covers our workmanship — the labor and the finish we applied — for as long as you own the vehicle. Fix Auto USA's own wording is that your vehicle stays "free from defects in craftsmanship." Parts carry whatever warranty their manufacturer provides, separately from ours. It is not cover for a new accident.
Does the warranty cover the paint?
Yes. Paint is part of the workmanship we warrant, so if the finish we applied fails while you own the car, bring it back and we will look at it. What it cannot cover is new damage to the paint after you collect the car — a stone chip on the freeway is not a workmanship failure.
Is the warranty good at other Fix Auto shops, or only at yours?
Any of them. Fix Auto USA honors it at 200+ locations across the country, so a repair done in Bellevue is still covered after you move to Denver, or if something surfaces while you are a long way from home. Come to us first when you can — we did the work and we have the file.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell the car?
No. It covers you for as long as you own the vehicle, and it ends when the car changes hands, so a buyer cannot claim on work we did for you. Fix Auto USA's wording is "for as long as you own it." If you are selling, the repair paperwork is still yours to hand over.
Do I get the warranty in writing?
Yes. The warranty document goes home with your car at pickup, along with the rest of the repair paperwork — the frame measurement printout if your repair involved structural work, and the post-repair scan report. You should not have to take our word for the parts of a repair you cannot see.
Something went wrong months later. Is that the warranty or my insurance?
It depends on the cause, and we will tell you which it is rather than leave you guessing. If the repair we performed has failed, that is warranty work and there is no charge. If the car has picked up new damage since, that is an insurance question, and we can write you an estimate.
